Parents/guardians of award recipients are invited to attend. Students who are not receiving an award shall not attend this event. 

A student has the opportunity each year to earn an Academic Letter. In order to qualify for this prestigious award, the student must receive a minimum of a 3.5 GPA on their first semester and third quarter report cards of the present school year.

Students may earn additional recognition each year after the Academic Letter award by receiving a pin, which may be attached to the letter. Students who earn an Academic Letter as a freshman can earn all awards by their senior year.

 

A student who played a varsity level sport and maintained a minimum of a 3.5 GPA on their first semester and third quarter report cards is awarded the Scholar Athlete Shield. A varsity athlete may earn additional recognition each year by receiving a pin, which may be attached to the shield. Students who play a varsity level sport as a freshman and continue to participate at the varsity level, can earn all awards by their senior year.
