WELCOME TO WEST VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

West Valley is a part of the Anderson Union High School District.  The District is located in Shasta County and is composed of six high schools which serve approximately 2,000 students total.

As a California Distinguished School, West Valley High School serves approximately 850 students in the surrounding communities of Cottonwood, Happy Valley, Igo, Ono, and Lake California. We offer a college and career ready curriculum for all students in a clean, safe, disciplined, and progressive setting. 
 
Our faculty and staff are committed to "Find a Way" to help all students complete various pathways including college preparatory courses, vocational and career education, agriculture, and the Arts. 
 
West Valley is locally recognized for its academics. It is also well known for its strong athletic programs and touts its continual efforts to maintain a drug-free campus.
