BIO
I am a hometown girl-grew up right here in Anderson. I have been teaching in AUHSD since 1996, when I did my student teaching at West Valley. I have taught at ANTHS since 2004. It is my home away from home. I earned my bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UC Davis. I went on to get my teaching credential from Simpson University. I was expecting to be a math teacher, but when the opportunity presented itself, I got the chance to also be a Spanish teacher. I love being a teacher and being a part of the lives of so many young people as they find their way from childhood to adulthood.
My husband Gerardo and I have been married for 28 years. We are the proud parents of our 3 children Allison, Natalia, and Marco. We are also proud dog parents to Oliver(Lab/ Weimaraner) and Beau(pit mix). I love to spend time with my family. We love to travel, camp, boat on the lakes, kayak, hike, snow ski, play tennis and pickle ball.
