BIO
I grew up in Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) during the birth of Apple and the demise of Hewlett Packard. I graduated from San Jose State University, with a Major in Graphic Design (Illustration Emphasis) and a minor in Humanities. I worked briefly for a large Laser Company, until finally establishing my own Graphic Design business. Teaching, as a career came later in my life, after my children entered middle school. Now, being our Yearbook Advisor, satisfies the passion for my designer side.
Over 10 years ago, I was tasked with establishing New Tech’s Fine Art Program. Before that we only offered Drama and Photography. I am happy guiding student artist and entering their work into local shows. I really enjoy putting together art displays in our halls. I love acrylic painting, walking my dog, traveling with my husband and tasting new foods (cultural cuisine.) My dog’s name is TAZ- my unconditional love and humorous inspiration.
