Hello, my name is Victor Hopper. I am honored to serve as Superintendent of Anderson Union High School District. I have over two decades of experience serving as a public school educator, having served as a high school principal for four years and as a superintendent since 2012.
I believe our students deserve and our community expects a top-notch education from AUHSD. Moreover, I know that when we create a welcoming environment that engages all students, the community benefits by having access to a well prepared workforce and active citizens. It is in this tenet that I am honored to work alongside a group of dedicated professional staff and a supportive community that will ensure that AUHSD meets its mission: Every student will be college and career ready.
I am the son of working-class parents and was first in my family to attend college, thanks to a solid public education. I hold a Bachelors degree in Political Science from California State University - Fullerton. In addition, I hold an administrative credential, as well as a multiple subjects credential and a Master's of Science degree in Education from National University.
I am married to Elmy, also an educator, and we are the proud parents of two daughters, Daniella and Isabella.
