Anderson Union High School District is nestled in one of the most
scenic and nature-filled regions in California. The District consists of
the communities of Cottonwood, Happy Valley and the City of Anderson.
While we are a smaller district, approximately 1900 students, we strive
everyday to give our students the tools necessary to be successful in
the world that awaits them.

choice that best shapes their future. As the Superintendent I take our
responsibility to our students very seriously and work to keep the focus
on preparing our students for their adult endeavors. We continually
work at adapting our curriculum and improving the training of our
employees to accomplish our goals with our students. This takes place
through program analysis, collaboration with all of our schools,
including local elementary schools, and formal staff development. We are
expanding our relationships with the local elementary districts so that
every child will have a positive and seamless educational experience
from kindergarten through 12th grade.

and Math to Advanced Placement Calculus, Physics and Economics, highly
successful Agricultural programs, vocational classes, outstanding
Performing Arts and wide range of clubs and Athletics.
