Oakview High School is a small Independent Study high school in Anderson, CA. Anderson is located 10 miles south of Redding and 155 miles north of Sacramento. Oakview is a part of the Anderson Union High School District. Oakview was established August 26, 1991. Oakview serves students from the southern part of Shasta County. We are home to approximately 150 students who work independently.
The mission of Oakview High School is to provide a safe, engaging, and alternative learning environment that challenges students to develop personal and academic responsibility.
Oakview is "W.A.S.C." (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accredited.
