Whether you are a student, parent, community member, or a potential community member looking to relocate to the wonderful Anderson area, there is a wealth of information you can access anytime, including contact information for every staff member at AUHS. In addition, this website includes bell schedules, updated calendar of events, links to staff email addresses and phone numbers, Site Council information, state testing results, directions to our school, student handbooks and course catalogs, our School Accountability Report Card, as well as other links to useful educational web sites and District resources. It is with tremendous pride that I serve as the principal of AUHS, a school founded upon a strong-hallowed tradition of excellence and innovation. The AUHS small school, family environment is a key and essential component to the CUB family, where educators, parents, and community members join forces to provide a rich and supportive educational experience for our students. Spirit and energy are abundant at AUHS, and one only experiences this if they are lucky enough to be on campus during any given school day; the staff, students, and volunteers at our school create this family atmosphere with a commitment to each other. A foundation pillar of our family is that we firmly believe that all students can learn and graduate, college and career ready. In this dynamic and creative high school, I would like to applaud the staff, who, through their hard work and dedication, provide a rigorous and challenging experience. Constantly striving to prepare students for the world in which they will live and work, the CUB staff maintains a steadfast focus on collaboration for the benefit of our students. Our collaborative priority remains in aligning curriculum, forging common assessments and analyzing data to drive teaching strategies that are proven as best practice. In addition, we continue to find avenues for our students to take center stage and shine, whether it be through academics, athletics, co-curricular programs, clubs or visual and performing arts; we exist for our students.
