As the leader of AUHS, it is my mission to create an environment that provides students with access to challenging and rewarding high school experiences, which include quality academic, vocational, visual-performing arts, and extra-curricular programs that will allow students access to post-secondary opportunities. We are committed to fulfilling the vision that, “ Each will excel, to be College, Career and Life ready!“

 

Although everyone at AUHS takes academics very seriously, we also are concerned with personal growth, quality extracurricular activities, and strengthening our bond with the community. This is why I welcome parents and community members to partner with us in our career fairs, supporting our students by attending sporting events, becoming sponsors, donating time and/or resources to see our programs and the students we serve thrive. In addition, there are opportunities to serve on our School Site Council, the AUHS Booster Club, our parent club called the PACE Committee, or even serve at the district level as a Board Member.  

 

Every year is an honor that I have to serve so many as the principal of Anderson Union High School.  This is a school that is rich in tradition and which believes in excellence and innovation. We have tremendous students who will always be the reason for all that we do. Those who are part of the Cub culture are fortunate enough to see the abundance of togetherness, the energy, and the spirit of our high school. A pillar of our family is that we firmly believe in all students' ability to learn and be well prepared upon graduation for college, career and life. I would like to applaud our staff, who work collaboratively to provide a better product in every classroom and an experience that is rigorous and challenging, and rewarding for our students. Our collaborative priorities focus on aligning curriculum, possessing common assessments and analyzing data to drive instruction and learning with best practices in teaching. In addition, we continue to find avenues for our students to take center stage and shine, whether it be through academics, athletics, co-curricular programs, clubs or visual and performing arts. Anderson Union High School exists for the growth and success of all students.
