Anderson High School is participating in a 6-week “Futures and Options” program provided by Girls Inc. beginning Tuesday, January 19th every Tuesday on campus for 6 weeks from 12 pm-1:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about money, paychecks, deductions, credit, lending and other finance-related topics.
This program prepares participants for entering the world of work by helping them examine topics such as attitudes and values about money, career strategies, economic justice, and workers' rights, paycheck deductions, responsible use of credit and avoiding predatory lenders, renting versus buying, and investing.
