The Anderson Union High School District would like you to participate in the public process for the transition to by-trustee elections
- Attend public hearings to discuss criteria for establishing trustee areas
- Attend public hearing to review draft maps of potential trustee areas and provide input
- Attend the final public hearing to select the final map with trustee areas and election sequence
You may not have children currently in school, but your voice as a taxpayer and community member is important. We want to hear from our community as we embark on this process.

Draft Maps for consideration by the Anderson Union High School District:
After holding the fifth of five public hearings to hear community input on the subject, the Governing Board approved a resolution to establish a district-based/trustee area election system. Also approved was the trustee area map
(click here to view) and the sequence of elections for the five seats of the Governing Board.
The adopted resolution, with the approved map and election sequence, was forwarded to the Shasta County Committee on School District Organization for their consideration and action. A Public Hearing has been scheduled for December 5, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Anderson Union High School Library, 1471 Ferry St., Anderson, CA.
