Bio
I am the 5th generation on both sides of my family from Red Bluff, CA. Raised on a farm of walnut orchards with all of my first cousins (13 of them). I have always loved the outdoors and nature; one reason I went into the sciences. Our family camped a lot in the summer and we were all competitive water skiers as well. I have been married to my husband Dean for 31 years, and have 3 children, Nick, Alaina, and Laura (all adults now). Dean and I love to kayak, hike in the forests, visit all of our families (his all live in Toronto, Canada), and spend time on the lake. I love to read, especially by the waterfall in my backyard. My passion is helping students find the best within themselves and the confidence to pursue their dreams.
