Robert Miller Scholarship for Viticulture and Enology 
Due: March 8, 2019
The Robert Miller Scholarship for Viticulture and Enology is available to high school seniors enrolled at Alan Hancock Community College or Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Applications can be found online at http://www.cawgfoundation.org
 
California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation Scholarship
Due: March 8, 2019
The  California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation Scholarship is available to children of California vineyard employees who will be attending a California Community College, California State University, or University of California. Applications can be found online at http://www.cawgfoundation.org
 
The George Grotefend Scholarship
Due: March 5, 2019
The George Grotefend Scholarship is available to current high school seniors who are on schedule to graduate, have attended all four years of high school in a Shasta County high school, have a high school academic weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, and whose expected family contribuction (EFC) is less than $8,000. Applications are accepted November 1, 2018 through March 5, 2019. If you meet the above requirements and are interested in applying for the Grotefend Scholarship, please email your request for an application to vsmith@shastacoe.org with your name and the name of the high school you are attending. 
 
 
Beverage Industry College Scholarship Program
Due: February 15, 2019 
Award ranging from $3,000 - $6,000 
The Christermon Foundation is continuing their longtime committment to supporting college bound students. To qualify, you must be a high school senior attending a 4 year university/college beginning Fall, 2019 as well as have a parent or grandparent who is employed with a company who holds a valid California beverage alcohol license. This list includes restaurants, retail, and wholesale grocery establishments, convenience stores, drug stores, airlines, wineries, breweries, etc. Students employment or employment by other fmaily members does not qualify. The 2019 Beverage Industry Scholarship application is now available at the scholarship link of https://www.christermon.com/scholarship-program/.  
 
University of Dayton - Leadership in Service Scholarship 
$10,000.00 
Are you Ohio bound? Are you wanting to attend the University of Dayton? Please see your counselor if you are interested in receiving the University of Dayton Leadership in Service Scholarship. The scholarship is available to first time freshman attending the University of Dayton only.  
 
2019 National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar Applciation
Due: November 30, 2018 
$10,000.00
Since 2013, The National Space Club and Foundation has offered the opportunity for a student to give the keynote address at the National Space Club and Foundation's annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, one of the space industry's most prestigious gatherings. The student must intend to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields, be academically strong and excel in public speakingIn addition to speaking at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the individual selected will also receive a scholarship, in the amount of $10,000. This scholarship is awarded to a U.S. citizen, and is open to seniors in High School through graduate students studying at an accredited educational institution in the United States, who has definite plans to pursue a career in the STEM fields. Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Teachers
$2000.00
The AATP Executive Board offers scholarships for future high school physics teachers. These scholarships, supported by an endowment funded by Barbara Lotze, are available only to U.S. citizens attending U.S. schools. Students must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited two year college, four-year college or a university; or a high school senior accepted for such enrollment. Student must also pursue or plan to pursue, a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in the high schools as well as show promise of success in their studies. Author Jamie Weil is offering a scholarship to students who live and go to school in Shasta or Tehema County. Applicants must be 18 years or younger and be heading to college during Fall of 2019. Elks National Foundation "Most Valuable Student Scholarship"

Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards
Due: February 1, 2019  
$4000.00
 Must be a high school senior who is the child or grandchild of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2016, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2016. The Elk must be a paid-up member through March 31, 2019 and great-gradnchildren are not eligible. Applications due February 1, 2019 at https://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/Legacy.cfm
 
The Prudential Sprit of Community Awards

Horatio Alger Scholarship 
Scholarships varying in amount from $6,000 to $25,000 
Must be a high school senior who will graduate in spring/summer, demonstrated critical financial need (55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), and United States citizenship. Applications are available from August 1 to October 25 at https://scholars.horatioalger.org/
 
Redding Regional Chapter of Safari Club International

Must be a high school senior with at least a 2.5 GPA in the Redding or Northern California Region who enjoys the outdoors and plans to enroll in a 2 or 4-year college majoring in natural resource management, game management or related fields. Military Order of the Purple Heart Academic Scholarship 
Due: May, 2019 
Scholarships varying in amount from $500.00 to $1000.00
Must be a United States citizen and a high school senior with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, be the direct descendant (child, step-child, adopted child, grandchild, or great grandchild) of a Veteran who served honorably in one of the military branches of the United States Armed Services (Army, Navy, Marine Corps., Air Force or Coast Guard) and proof of enrollment as a full-time student (12 or more semester credit hours, or 18 quarter credit hours) at a Community College, State College, University, or Trade School at the time the scholarship is awarded.  Applications can be found at http://www.purpleheartchapter2001.org/static/index.html under the upcoming tab.

The Robert Miller Scholarship for Viticulture and Enology is available to Central Coast high school seniors OR a student enrolled at Alan Hancock Community College or Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo In order to complete the application students must provide a letter of recommendation and a 500 word essay. Applications can be found online at http://www.cawgfoundation.org
