Champions of Breakfast!
The USDA was pleased to announce in March that Anderson Union High School District is a recipient of the Food and Nutrution Service, West Region's 2019 Champions of Breakfast Award for the category Susccessful Startup of a new School Breakfast Program.

The Champions of Breakfast Awards recognize schools and districts that operate exemplary School of Breakfast Programs. The USDA stated that, "the increase in student breakfast participation from 25% of students in 2016 to 40% of students in 2018 is quite impressive."

Susan Lee, the Director of Nutrition Services, along with her team members work hard everyday and are dedicated to ensure that the students of Anderson Union High School District are provided nutritous meals.

Research has shown that students are able to learn better when they’re well nourished, and eating healthy meals has been linked to higher grades, better memory  and alertness, and faster information processing.

The District wishes to thank Susan Lee, and each and everyone of her team members for doing a job well done!
