Junior Varsity / Freshmen Tryouts –
Monday August 8th – Friday August 12th
Tryouts for both teams begins Monday and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. – noon and Wednesday 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The team will be posted no later than Wednesday and practice will begin at 2:45pm on Monday August 15th in the large gym.
Thursday and Friday – The times for Thursday and Friday will not be determined until after tryouts begin in August. However you should not make plans for either evening until that time.
You must have a GOLD SLIP to try out in August. Some teams allow tryouts with a pink practice slip but we do not. We need to know that all athletes are eligible in order to make fair decisions with regard to who makes the teams. Please contact the school as soon as possible after you complete your physical and receive your final grades for spring 2016 – there will NOT be people in the office the entire summer to provide you with the gold slip. If all else fails, bring your pink practice slip and your report card from June 2016 to the first day of tryouts.
