Anderson Union High School District :: Welcome to Anderson Union High School District
Welcome to the AUHSD Nutrition Services Department
Lower Sodium Intake = Better Health

Our year here at AUHSD has gotten off to a great start. The new regulations were a challenge, but students are really enjoying our new menus. We have some new choices. Now your student can select from three different styles of lunches. We have a salad bar which is served with the old favorite, pizza. Our pizza is served on a whole grain crust and is delicious. The sandwich line features choices like chicken and tomato wraps, grilled chicken sandwiches, and bbq rib sandwiches, served with an array of salad combos.

Our hot entree line continues to serve old favorites. Chinese food, Taco Tuesday, Hamburger Bar Wednesday, Turkey Gravy Thursday and All-American Friday. Each line features a selection of fruits and veggies to complete your student's meal. I have had many wonderful comments from the students. Among them, "I love being able to choose my lunch" and "This is like eating in a restaurant".

We are serving highly nutritious meals and the students are coming back for more! We continue with our efforts to develop recipes that reduce sodium, fat and empty calories that teenagers enjoying eating. Our goal at AUHSD is to make sure our students eat well and enjoy their meals.
